1. Like its sister hotel, the Amanti, Amavi has an excellent system where you choose a sunbed for the entirety of your stay. Which means there are absolutely no sunbed wars. To top it all, the beds are super comfy, with complimentary water and excellent pool service. As it is an adult-only property, the whole pool area has a lovely, serene vibe.

2. This 5 star beachfront hotel is brilliantly located to stroll along the promenade into Paphos harbour. An afternoon wander was a necessity for us after so much delicious food. There is a small beach immediately in front of the property, which is perfect for a quick dip or a longer laze in the sea before popping back into the luxury haven of the hotel.

3. Half board offers excellent value as it includes drinks with dinner. The quality of the food is outstanding, and our particular favourite is their rooftop Asian fusion restaurant, Immenso. The food, setting and service are second to none, and it was a real highlight of our lovely foodie stay.

A reason to return?

After visiting Amanti 2 years ago, we felt it couldn’t be beaten, but Amavi is another excellent option for a lovely adult-only couples break. From the staff to the food, location and quality of the rooms and amenities, I could not recommend this more highly. We arrived home feeling completely refreshed for the first time in a long time – please send me back!
