On Sunday, November 6, Shrewsbury’s multi award winning travel agency, Peakes Travel Elite is holding their first live, post-pandemic, luxury travel showcase at St Marys Church in Shrewsbury.

With the number of international travel passengers in 2022 expected to reach 88% of pre-pandemic levels and 2023 predicted to recover to 105%, consumer confidence is returning to the travel sector. Interest in different types of luxury holidays is also changing, with the rise of sustainable and adventure tourism increasing year on year.

Claire Moore, Managing Director said, “From talking to our customers, we have found that when it comes to looking at their future travel plans, they really want to sit down and talk to us about creating an authentic and individualized travel experience that will create lifelong memories for them and their families”

Peakes has carefully enlisted 13 trusted travel partners from the world of cruise, touring and adventure to offer their expert advice on the day of the event. Claire adds “As well as operators offering luxury holidays to the stunning beaches of the Greek islands, we have travel experts who can offer something a little bit different, for example cruising to the world's most isolated landscapes such as the South Pole”

As well as offering travel inspiration for 2023 and beyond, they will also be raising a glass to 30 years of Peakes Travel Elite.
